Blog - On Computer Science and Motivation

I recently read a forum post on the prospects of working "in"
computer science. First, I'd like to say, CS in itself is a huge field -
ranging from working with micro processors, signal processing, and embedded
development, to Windows applications, game development and mobile apps. To say
the least, answering a question like that is nigh impossible. It often seems
to me that the term Computer Science has a fairly popular stereotype of forever
alone losers sitting in a basement for days on end, typing a bunch of cryptic
jargon, all the while getting no where in life.

A miniature Space Invaders Clone I made for the BSU Game Programming Group and is

Hopefully some day I'll finish it, but until then, it is available here, free of charge!
